A group of paranormal investigators go to an abandoned asylum to record their 100th show (god knows how they ever got popular because they are utterly horrendous in front of the camera) and research the story of an insane patient who walked into the children's ward in 1955 and murdered 3 children in their sleep.
For a group of paranormal investigators they spend the majority of the film barely acknowledging what they are doing and missing vital things that they should be filming. They are also irritating to watch and seem to despise each other. Almost amusing by the time you reach the end. I like these films purely because of a) the location they are set, and b) sometimes you are told the history (be it fiction or factual) which can be interesting. But other than than, I am getting pretty fed up with how unoriginal these abandoned building horrors are.
