This was an utterly embarrassing and ridiculous excuse for a film. The lead girl Lola, having been rejected by Brent, the guy she is obsessively in love with after asking him to the prom (although god knows why she likes him because he looks like a drug addled scarecrow), gets her father to kidnap him and then re-enacts her own private prom night with him by torturing him and drugging him in the privacy of her own home. Wonderful. It's complete rubbish and I have no idea why anyone is bigging this film up as some sort of teen anthem for the depressed student generation. The acting is very mediocre and it's quite a pointless film, because the only outcome is ever going to be the death of the lead male. Stupid stuff. 'Demented' is right. 'Masterpiece' is not.
